Control
What means Control in organic farming?
Organic agriculture is a quality brand. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that the same rules apply for the production of a large number of producers in many countries and, secondly, that control is not the final product and production process.
Manufacturer's decision to engage in organic farming is voluntary, but starting production it complies strictly with the rules and standards and subjected to rigorous scrutiny by an independent supervisory authority. This ensures that products are indeed produced by the standards for organic production.
"Trust is good, control is something better" - says an old bit "suspicious" saying that of course applies to our food. To no room for unscrupulous producers and consumers are not misled, and receive guaranteed organic products, organic farming there is a wide control system. At least once a year all organic producers and processors farms be monitored for compliance with legal provisions.
If the controllers actually caught the "black sheep" that do not comply with the standards, then follow strict sanctions according to the seriousness of the offense: the owner can lose the certificate of the affected lot or lose the right to indicate all their products as organic. In addition he must pay any transportation costs, which can lead to severe financial losses.
